I trained with the Funeral Celebrant Academy and I am also a qualified Life and Wellbeing Coach, having worked one on one with hundreds of clients over the last 13 years.

I was drawn to train as a celebrant as I wanted to be able to help to celebrate the life of a loved one who has died. I encountered death at a very young age, when my best friend died, very suddenly and unexpectedly. This was a huge life lesson in appreciating and cherishing every moment in life. Since then I have lost several family and friends. This led me on my own path to try and understand death as being a part of life and not something unspoken, until it happened. A funeral is the last collective public act for the person who has died. It would me my honour and privilege to be part of creating a treasured memory of this celebration of life and love.

I live in London but treasure any time I can get to escape to the countryside to enjoy nature and all that this beautiful country has to offer.

A little bit about me...
Feedback received from services I had led

"Thank you Shirley again for everything and for putting together a beautiful service for our Mum. Meeting you felt so right. I know if Mum had a choice for someone to do her service, she would have most definitely chosen you herself"
"Thank you for your amazing words. Nan was so happy with how it all went"

"Shirley led us before and on the day with such kindness and dignity"
